«Oasis» is the third studio album by Japanese new-age and prog rock musician Kitaro, released in 1979, october.
Recorded at Kitaro's own studio in Kamakura, the album contains 10 tracks characterized by the use of Korg, Roland, and Yamaha synthesizers, as well as acoustic guitar and percussion. The album's musical style has been compared to the works of Tangerine Dream and Jean-Michel Jarre from the same period, noting the influence of Eastern motifs.
The recording took place at Kitaro's Kamakura Studio in Kamakura, Japan.
