Silk Road, Volume 4 — Ten-Jiku (India)
This album is part of Kitaro's acclaimed music series composed as a soundtrack for the NHK TV documentary series The Silk Road: The Rise And Fall Of Civilizations. The music blends traditional Asian instruments with electronic synthesizers to create an evocative atmosphere of the journey along the ancient trade routes.
Kitaro used a variety of instruments on the album, including synthesizers (Korg, Roland, Minimoog, Prophet-5), acoustic and 12-string guitars, sitar, santoor, and various drums and percussion.
